I'm honestly getting pretty frustrated and I'm hoping someone here can help me out because I feel like I've called every garage in Dubai at this point. I have a 2014 Chrysler 300 that I've owned for about three years and honestly it's been a great car, really comfortable for long drives and the engine has been solid. But last week the check engine light came on and the car started idling a bit rough when I'm stopped at traffic lights, like it's shaking just a little bit. I thought no big deal, I'll just take it to a garage and get it sorted. Well, I've called five different workshops so far and three of them told me straight up that they don't work on American cars, one said they could take a look but they don't have the right diagnostic software for Chrysler specifically, and the last one quoted me 800 dirhams just to plug in a computer and tell me what the error code is. I couldn't believe it. I never thought it would be this hard to find someone who knows these cars. A friend of mine who used to have a Jeep told me that proper Chrysler repair service in Dubai is hard to find because not many mechanics are familiar with the brand, but he said there are specialists out there if you look hard enough. So now I'm turning to you guys. Has anyone here owned a Chrysler 300 or similar American car and found a good trustworthy garage in Dubai that actually knows what they're doing? I don't mind paying a fair price, I just want someone who can properly diagnose why my engine is idling rough without guessing or charging me a fortune just to look at it. I'm located in Deira but I'll drive anywhere in Dubai for a good mechanic. Really would appreciate any recommendations you guys can share before I lose my mind calling more garages. Thanks so much.
